Alexa Wynter is a member of the teaching and leadership staff at Amarikhotánale. She is an Indigenous Caribbean practitioner with place-based affiliation to Kore-üshí Kasekoyaha (present-day Dolphin Head Forest Reserve, Jamaica), and her community-recognized custodial designations include Inhibida-arin (May 2025—) of Iatá-kwana Kore-üshí (heraldic family clan authorship). Her background includes self-directed training in archery and spearing applied seasonal only and within applicable regulations, including upland bowhunting, saltwater bowfishing, and saltwater spearfishing.
